I've witnessed Ted’s presentations around the world , and always leave with knowledge ,clarity and humanity on the topic. Ted ’s a warm, caring person, no matter what the subject, and that comes through, powerfully and emotionally. You leave Ted’s talks not just learning something, but feeling something. Ted Schilowitz brings a sense of powerful magic to his presentations thats a joy to watch.
I have known Ted for over 25 years and watched him speak on dozens of occasions. Always engaging, always current and always informative. If you can find a way to get Ted, you’re guaranteed an entertaining experience.
Ted is a rare combination of a tech genius and a phenomenal speaker. I’ve been fortunate to see him speak several times and became a fan of his podcast. He is both entertaining and informative while being able to speak to the audience’s level of expertise with or without slides. I strive to achieve a fraction of the success Ted has and I have modeled my public speaking engagements after his.
I have had the pleasure of working with Ted Schilowitz for well over ten years. As the futurist at Twentieth Century Fox, Ted has spoken at many events. He has an innate ability to always “look around corners” to see where technology is headed, to find creative solutions to existing problems, and shake up the norm. Always provocative, but also gracious, he has the unique ability to speak to all kinds of audiences on many different subject ranging from the entertainment industry to technology.
When I taught at USC, Ted was always one of my go-to speakers: energetic, insightful, entertaining and right — a rare combination! Over the years we became good friends and I’ve enjoyed working with him for the same reasons. Ted has deep experience in a number of verticals and uncanny ability to distill complex realities into easy-to-understand imagery. He routinely delights and inspires audiences of senior executives and students alike. He has a rare gift for reading an audience and speaking in a language that is perfect for them.
When you live in the future it is hard to predict exactly where things are going, which is why it is so refreshing to watch the futurist Ted Schilowitz speak. In the many years of hearing Ted speak whether it be for a keynote, panel or just in casual conversation - the most engaging part, is his authenticity. While he is very in tune for what the future maybe, he is clear-
"I don't know how it will play out but it will be fun to watch" almost always with a grin from ear to ear. Ted while one of the best speakers I have ever heard, speaks from his authentic soul and tells you like it really is - whether you are a CEO, creator or board member.
Dear Ted - I want to again thank you for honoring us by serving as guest speaker yesterday for the 'Innovation' module in our Driving Transformation learning journey. People were SO engaged (partway through someone Slacked me in all caps saying, "He's TERRIFIC!") and we received rave reviews afterward, with participants commenting about your industry knowledge, incredible creativity, and overall authentic style. We also heard several comments about how refreshing it was to have a leader share actionable suggestions about experimenting and testing new technologies - it was such a powerful way to close the fireside chat. Like the rest of the attendees, I was so transfixed by your storytelling and insights that I found myself filling 8 pages with notes! Thank you again for your time, partnership, and for energizing our audience in such a tangible way. I'm incredibly grateful to you for catalyzing our success, and for setting the bar for future speakers.
Hi Ted,
I hope this finds you well. I’m reaching out with an invitation from Variety, which very much hopes to recognize the importance of your work in driving the industry toward the next generation of movie experience by inducting you into its Variety Hall of Fame. As background, The Variety Hall of Fame is the most prestigious and longest-running gathering for senior executives in the entertainment industry. Started 39 years ago as a home entertainment event, under Variety its mission has expanded to celebrate creative, technical and business innovation across film, TV, digital, video games and music.
We had a really great event last year, with honorees including Brad Bird, Susanne Daniels, Bob Buchi and Issa Rae, and we’re hoping to top it this year with you as part of the Class of 2019. Other honorees this year will include writer/director/producer Greg Berlanti, Netflix's Cindy Holland, Dreamworks Animation's Margie Cohn and Microsoft's Dametra Johnson-Marletti.
Ted – it was such an honor to meet you today. Your talk was amazing, and clearly you had everyone’s attention from the start. It’s the best Curious Minds session I’ve personally witnessed! I personally would love a copy of your talk, and I’ve already had a few requests from some of those in attendance. Don’t ever hesitate to reach out if need anything – always happy to help.
Take care, and thanks again – everything was terrific!
